This is an handicraft work on sheet metal, aluminum, finely carved with traditional Indian patterns before being applied to another material, like wood. Metal sheets can also be hand painted, giving the traditional style called Meenakari in India. Colors can be heated, which gives them a special sparkle. The states of Gujarat and Rajasthan are particularly famous for these techniques.

These old and traditional methods turn usual or decorative items into real artworks, such as trays, jewelry boxes, small temples, etc..The aluminum ensures lightness, brightness and anti-corrosion to these items.
